December LAN and the future of Dakrat gaming: Well I must say I thought this LAN would be small but not just 6 peeps (2 did not have computers). For those that remember "Helen of Troy" she showed up and shot-gunned us all . Well the attendance has been weak over the last 4 months. My self and Frigid are willing to continue hosting the LANs but only if we get a constant 10 people every LAN. So what we need from the Dakrats is some suggestions on how to improve attendance and continue to make the LANs fun. If the LAN attendance does not meet what we think makes for a fun LAN we will consider just doing a over nighter once a quarter. The LANs have always been a blast and I would hate to see them slow down. The fun is unbelievable but the lack of a game to bring everyone together has hurt and MMORPG's have not helped attendance either. I tell you that even MMORPG are fun at the LAN. It allows you to show off your gear and get advice. This is long winded , I know but it is an effort to run these on busy schedules and we want to continue to have fun at LAN and not struggle to get people to come. ND
