Well I tried WHS (Windows Home Server) and I like it so much after using it just 1 week I bought it. I will have my server up to 5 TB (depending how I alowcate it) before Christmas. I backed up my gamer c drive and then loaded WIN 7 PRO on it.

Forgot that CODwaw stored the stats on the c drive. No problem. I just froze the old save so it won't delete and then opened it and found the folder i needed and that sold me on it.

I used the weaker of the 2 gamer spares and picked up 2 external 1TB drives from staples on Black Friday. Than on cyber Monday i picked up 2 internal 1.5 TB drives from Dell. Make for a nice little cache of space for the server.

I will keep posting here as to what I encounter over the weeks.
