We'd like to invite all of you (and hopefully you'll invite your friends) to the final Dakrats LAN-party of 2006! It's been a decent year, but we need to expand and grow to recover the losses we've suffered of those that have moved away (and will be missed!) We'll be at the Minot AFB Community Center, as usual, but we're pulling out all the stops to push this LAN over the top! The plan is to have a 2 day LAN on the 30th-31st, packed with fun and gibfest. Dakrat 2.0

Well, as you might have noticed, our file server, Dakrat, has gone down for the count. The capacitors on the mobo leaked and blew, and we managed to lose just about all of our games/patches/movies/etc. The good news? The administrators have pooled together resources to infuse a new file server with life - and better than ever. This time we're going with 600 GBs of RAID protected storage, so even if a hardware fault occurs again we shouldn't ever lose our stuff. GG =D.

The LAN party is on the 30 DEC and will be a two day event.
I know some have seen it advertised for the 23rd, but it is not. We are going to try out "WarRock", the reviews we have gotten is that it is so fun that one person gave away their BF2142 game. We are going to have a few projectors at the LAN to play on and view gaming and display movies and other clips.

Well it looks like the auto sign up is out. The spammers are using free or there own mail servers to sign up on our site and post junk to the forums. I will check the site everyday now to see if there are any new sign up's to the site.

| November 25th LAN |

Hello all again it's time for a LAN. The 25th November is the magic day at 1000 AM. Doc will not be there because he is going out of town. My self and Frigid will be setting up. The last LAN was a blast and I am looking forward to pawning all ya'll with the MP40 again in COD, or using my precious (Tank) to return your sniper bullets in BF2. Of course UT2K4 will be on the menu. So see all at the LAN on Saturday the 25 and happy Thanks Giving.

Hi all, it's been a busy month and I am ready for some LAN'ing. This weekend the 28th is the LAN so come out and enjoy. We still don't have the internet for some reason so start asking the community center why.

Wow what a time! We had 20 LANer's there almost for the Go. IT looks like starting at 10:00 was a good move. Doc was back in full force owning all in UT2K. We played COD2 first thing...and had a blast at it. The pizza shop is now open so good eats were available. Lots people brought food to share. Everything went extremely well and if you missed it, you missed a frag fest time. ND

| August LAN success! |

Thanks to everyone who showed up to the August LAN. The official count was 18 gamers simultaneously, with 22 counted throughout the day.
A special thank you and kudos to Mi6300 for running the CoD2 show.
I'll try to get pictures posted up tonight or tomorrow - hooray for the_risk who managed to repair a potentially devastated PC that had the motheboard mounted to the case WITHOUT standoffs (oh noes!!!).
We didn't quite make a full overnight LAN - we'd only had 3 people vote to continue on through Sunday - but nonetheless we gamed hard until the sun had nearly come up on Sunday! I think a great time was had by all :)

| August LAN |

We have had several request for an overnight LAN. I want to know how many peeps would be interested in an overnighter and how many will stay or at least come back the next day. We usually bring a projector and play movies and what not when it gets late. We get the use of common grounds room for sleeping if you get bothered by any noise in the LAN room. So everyone let us know what you think!
